Default A-Pillar Gauges

Anyone use/install one of these for mounting gauges on the A-Pillar?
Made by Auto-Meter. See_This
Kind-a handy considering there's no dash space in our F150's for additional gauges.
I have installed a couple on Corvettes...pretty cool!

Just wondering what happens to the 'grab handle' on the F150 with this installed?
I use that a lot!
Can it be installed over the gauge mount?

For what you show, I believe the handle is not used.

This is what I used instead:

You could simply use a tuner/monitor, Many of these display multiple engine readouts on a configurable screen.

I use a BDX with about 21 different different engine readouts, mounted on a Course magnetic phone mount. I have 4 PIDs up with min/max readings along with live readouts. I use the A pillar for speakers. KM

Crappy Pic, but this is what I use. All the info I need, customizable, and out of the way. Only person who doesn't like it is the lady who changes out my inspection sticker.

I use a Garmin dongle and phone app to monitor more functions than can fit in a gauge pod. I never use the driver side A-pillar handle and wouldn't miss it - many vehicles don't even have a handle on the driver side, since the steering wheel is there to use as a handle.

Without the grab handle you could end up with a BENT steering wheel.

No. In decades of using the wheel as a grab handle, I've never come close to bending it like that. That's due to an accident, or some major abuse beyond just hold it.
