Pics of your 2015+ trucks with vinyl floors
I'm narrowing down my selection of trucks. I'm currently looking at getting a 2019 STX crew cab 6.5 bed with max tow and tow mirrors. That's exactly what I am looking for, but this particular truck I've located has vinyl floors.
I think I'm OK with that. My wife tells me to go for it, but it is not something I'm used to in a vehicle. I've got a dog that sheds a ton of blonde hair. I've also got two kids, 4 & 6 years old. This truck will be my daily driver, but it also will be used for family trips and for camping. So vinyl floors makes sense. If I had carpet, I was going to get some full coverage floor mats, so what's the difference.
I'm curious to see what the vinyl floors look like for the 2015+ trucks, especially those with the center console. The listing for the truck im looking at doesn't really have good pictures of the floor. Also, and opinions or advice is welcome. Thanks.

I’ve got a 2017 STX with vinyl floors. At first I wasn’t too wild about it as I felt it sort of “cheapened” the feel of the truck. I added Weathertech floor liners to it and they cover up so much of the floor that I almost forget what’s underneath. But honestly now that I’m used to it I’m fine with not having carpet as clean up is so, so easy. It’s nice to not worry about getting the carpet dirty after a day of playing in the dirt with our motorcycles.
I need to clean up the WeatherTech’s so if I get a chance to do so I’ll try and snap a picture or two while they’re out.

I like the practicality of the vinyl flooring, but am concerned about it feeling cheap. I've been thinking that I might still get a set of full coverage floor mats anyway, just to help protect the floors from scratches and punctures. I'm not sure if I should even be concerned about that or not.

I've had an XLT with carpet and now have an XL with the black rubber (or vinyl?) floor. One of the surprises is that the rubber floor is just as quiet as the carpeted floor.
If you want pretty, get the carpet and spend time and care keeping it clean. If you plan on using it as a truck, the rubber is far more functional...if not quite as attractive.
Not the best pics of the floor but you get the idea. Pay no attention to the crappy looking mats in front--they're my old Weathertechs from a previous truck.

Exactly what D2abbott said x2
I got the Weathertechs and forgot all about it.
Until I spilled a coffee down between the floormat and the vinyl floor. At that point I was very thankful!
