Default Phone mount

Looking at a phone mount to hold my phone in the 2015. Problem is there's not a lot of room to put a traditional mount on the dash because of the small tray in the middle that isn't flat.

Anyone else come up with a solution?

I don't really want to cover a vent

try a ram mount. You can suction cup the mount to the windshield, hang it from the rear view mirror, or stick it in a cup holder. The RAM mounts have so many different solutions I could go on and on. I use one on my Harley Davidson and they are amazing. Check out their page. http://www.rammount.com

Another option:

This is what I use. Of course you need to select the device you want to attach to the mount to complete the setup.

Pana vise is what I use in my truck and cars. You pop the radio trim off pull two screws and use them to mount the holder.

I am also using the proclip with a magnetic phone mount. I prefer the phone as close as possible to my direct line of vision, so this has been the best solution I have found so far.

If you have abandoned CD's like most people have. They sell mounts that slide into the cd slot. They have them on Amazon.

Definitely like that option, pricey, but looks high quality.

+1 on the pro clip.

Pretty happy with it. Trying to figure out a "bridge" between the driver and passenger side ones to mount a GPS or small tablet. Tired of suction mounts...

I have one of these:

Amazon.com: Koomus CD-Air CD Slot Smartphone Car Mount Holder Cradle for All iPhone and Android Devices: Cell Phones & Accessories Amazon.com: Koomus CD-Air CD Slot Smartphone Car Mount Holder Cradle for All iPhone and Android Devices: Cell Phones & Accessories

Holds my Nokia 822 Windows Phone just ahead of the console shifter which provides a stable place to rest my wrist to manage the screen on the phone.

I also ordered:

Amazon.com: AUKEY Car Charger with 4.8A Dual USB Port for iPhone 6S 5SE, Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge and more (Small but Powerful) - Black: Electronics Amazon.com: AUKEY Car Charger with 4.8A Dual USB Port for iPhone 6S 5SE, Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge and more (Small but Powerful) - Black: Electronics

I also picked up a 4 ft. long USB cord at the Walmart. I drilled a hole inside the compartment under the sliding door and fed the cord through the hole and around the edge of the console up to the mount so I would have a charge cord available there without it looking cluttered. Mind you, this was no easy task as there is not easy access to the places I needed to fish the cord through, but I accomplished it and it works well for me.

This link will take you straight to what I have but more options on the thread as well. Since we have 2015's we don't have the back up **** so I found that is the perfect spot for a suction cup phone mount and charging cord hides easily in the retractable cubby storage. Hope this helps.
