Phone holder
#4
It’s a piece of thin aluminum that I formed and painted black. Then I removed the audio bezel and screwed the piece to the dash frame with two small flatheads and popped the bezel back on. The mounting screws are completely hidden and if you want to take the bracket off no harm done to the visible area of the dash.
Then I added a TECHMATTE holder. Looks great and works great and it’s very convenient to the charging receptacle.
Thanks for asking.

Sorry to hijack your thread, pearsonrb, but since it's the same topic, I might as well.
Here is what I found on amazon.ca
It's a wireless charging holder. The down side is that FAST charging only works without the otterbox case. However, regular charging works just fine. I just get in, slide the phone in the cradle and don't have to bother with plugging it in.
So far, works great and I'm really happy. I paid $28.38 CAD with shipment. No local stores sell wireless charging phone car cradles.

Call me minimalist, but if I am not hooking my phone to the USB charging cable for Android Auto, it stays in my belt holder. If I am hooking it to the USB charging cable for Android Auto, I lay it in the covered compartment with the charge ports, and close the cover so it is out of sight. Either way, I don't need physical access to the phone.
