It's surprising that walmart has had it in stock this long. It usually sells out in 1 day.
I figured what the h*ll. I ordered me two more, and with the rebate still going on, can't beat that deal. My car uses the same oil as well.
Not sure what the shelf life is, but i'm sure I'll use it in the next year or so (just keep it at a cool temp).

In a sealed container the shelf life is virtually forever.

In Pennzoil's on-line Q&A, they state that the shelf life of their oils is 2-3 years.

Damn, guess I stand corrected... I wonder what happens to it in a sealed container?

I mean there are oils on the market now that are supposed to last for a full year when being used in a vehicle.

But it only lasts 2 or 3 in a sealed container? Something doesn't add up here.

Anyone know where I can get this in the 5w20 variant for a similar price? Wal-Mart has it on their website but is out of stock.

Somewhere on the electronic interweb thingee I read that the additive package can settle out and degrade after a long time sitting still. Take that with a grain of salt, I guess.

I got my last $14 check today! Actually, I bought more, but I guess I can get my sister to send in the rebates.
