Default Pedal commander. Worth it?

For anyone who has 3.5 EcoBoost and 10 speed trans with a Pedal commander, please tell me your experience. I am looking for something to help reduce the delayed downshifting behavior on my truck. I'm thinking it's possible that some throttle response delay could be a factor in this. Could someone tell me if their Pedal commander helped the downshifting be more responsive?

Pedal commander will do absolutely nothing for shifting.

Has this been your experience owning one, or your opinion ?

It's a fact. Throttle response, which is what the pedal commander manipulates, has no affect on transmission mapping or shift parameters.

Not interested in facts. Only interested in experiences of the people who actually own this product

It's true. I asked for experiences from people who have this product, not facts about how things work.

Works great on my 13 Eco. Would recommend if you’re not into tuning but want a little more pep out of the throttle response.

You want better downshifts? Buy the raptor wheel, add the pins for the paddles, and run in manual mode. Boom.

I've had one for about a year now, on my 2017 3.5 Eco. I donn't notice any affect on the transmission shifts. The only time I really feel it is from a standing start. It is very noticeable then. I still like it because it takes all the sluggishness out of initial acceleration.
