Hello, I know PCO is kinda dead right now but hoping someone could answer on expiration.

My current PCO says to show dealer by 8-31-18 (which unless someone has time machine, it's in the past) but fine print says take delivery by 10-1-18? So is it expired or no?

thanks Jay

No... it should expire on 10/1.

Mine stated:
"Take new retail delivery from an authorized Ford Dealer's stock by 10/1/18. "

And of course it does not really have to be an on the lot truck. I ordered mine.

So my dealer got back to me. They claim to have spent 3 hours on the phone with FMC and they said it must be a stock vehicle. Obviously I don't know how to respond to that based on my findings. So if anyone could help I would appreciate it!

Maybe somebody can say this in a more eloquent manner, but your dealer is full of ****. If they can't figure out how to honor your PCO, given the hundreds of us that have done it WITH ordered vehicles... then two things. Either 1.) They are really, really that stupid, and if 1 = Yes then do you really want this to be the dealership you do your business with? Or 2.) They somehow think honoring the PCO costs them money (which is does not, they actually get a little spiff when you redeem it). And they are so hard core on their desire to be in control, that they would lose your business vs. figuring out how this works.

In my humble opinion... either scenario makes for a situation that I would not want to be in. Granted you might be stuck if you ordered the truck from them.... but if they can't call the SAME number we call to find out the same confirmations we get (I have done it multiple times now, talking to different representatives each time).... then I really don't know what you can do to help them short of walking away from the deal and hoping they will come to their senses.

Another country heard from. Your dealer is full of s**t. I had numerous calls with Ford marketing this summer, and each confirmed I could use my PCO with an ordered truck. My dealer didn't even give it a second thought. Depending how much your PCO is for (mine was $3K), it may be time to walk away from your order and find another dealer.

There’s so much more to this story.

My 2017 F-150 was brought to the dealer about 3 months ago for some 10 speed issues. Got to duplicate my issue with the techs (A FU**ing miracle!!!). Ok we will work on it. So woke up the next morning, nice sunny beautiful day. Got a knock at my door, I’m like wtf 6 am somethings bad. Police officer asked me do I own a 17 F-150 blue. Yes, well we found it abandoned about 60 miles away in a very bad non drivable condition.

So to make short of it, my truck was stolen from the dealer in the midst of the night by 13 and 14 year olds.

Dealership ordered me a new truck. The GM promised me to make sure I would get out of this ordeal with an new truck and no issues.

So so the truck is coming in next week and I’m just trying to figure this danm thing out. The GM is a family friend and a great guy- so I think it’s just a little communication issues. But I’ll figure it out. I hope
