Payload and towing
i have a 2016 F150 XLT no towing no receiver nothing. I have been doing factory upgrades put trailer brake controller got the factory receiver and all wiring for the socket. My question is, is it possible to use leaf springs from a different F150 to get a higher payload? And towing. I have loaded my truck with different things and it seems like nothing and the bed is squatting ridiculously low. No trading is not an option. I just want to know if I can put factory springs and shocks from a different truck.
I'm sure you could but dont quote me on that. Heres another option that could also help you. I'd give them a look for a rear suspension upgrade. I think you might be able to find a seller on here who will give you forum pricing on them as well.

So you are talking about two different things here-truck squat and payload. There is no way to increase your payload-what you have got is what you have got. Now, if you want to improve the sage issue I recommend a set of airbags-they will be cheaper, easier to install, and more effective than swapping out springs.
lol, don't think you're gonna get any more payload out of that.
1900lbs is a lot. The squat? it's normal.
put 4 50lb bags of sand in the bed, that's 200lbs. the suspension is gonna show it. like sitting 2 200lb guys back there that's 400lbs, it's gonna squat.
Like others said, air bags if you don't like squat.

Like the others have said the only way to improve the sagging is air bags or the roadmaster active suspension springs I posted earlier. You have to remember these are half ton trucks built for comfort and occasional towing unlike there superduty counterparts who are 3/4 and 1 ton pickups.

Right I understand that. But how come other trucks in my model year have more leaves than mine I have 2/1 I have seen 3/1 and 4/1 thicker springs and same thickness. Mine didn’t have the tow package from the factory I’m just trying to make it have the basic tow package that would have come with the truck from factory.
