Default Payload

Is there any information out yet on option and package weights? The build site and other sources list curb and payload weights for basic configurations like Lariat- 4x4, 6.5' bed, supercrew; but the build app doesn't give final payload after adding packages an options. I have seen Ford fleet brochures from previous years that list these individual package and option weights. I'd like to not get a bad surprise when my ordered truck arrives with a too low payload rating for what I need.

I haven't seen a worksheet for '15 yet. I plan to start a payload vs options thread when people start getting their trucks to try to work out estimates on various configurations. I'd like to know things like lariat vs platinum (massaging seats) trim... sunroof weight, etc before ordering. I wish I could just order a hd payload w/ a decked out truck, but you can't... better yet a decked out 145" screw...

local dealer has some 15's on their website that they have coming in. The window stickers are available to view. The GVWR package listed on a few of them is #7000. I have never seen that.... only #7200, #7350, and #7700. so depending on the 'actual' weight loss the payload may not be a whole lot better than previous model years. will have to wait and see what the door sticker says for payload.

I have a lariat supercrew 6.5' bed and 4x4 with most options except sunroof, auto parking, active cruise control. 3.5eb. Really hoping to get at least 1500# payload to cover towing hitch weight (500#), 2 pax, about 200# of permanent accessories (tonneau & battery & tools), and about another 300# of camping stuff in the truck bed. That's about 1400#. Didn't want to go the h/d suspension route because of harsh ride when not towing.

macotak, lariat screw 6.5' bed w/o sunroof... I'd be inclined you'll be closer to 1700 payload, but I wouldn't worry too much about 1500. I think there was a lariat screw (preproduction) that had ~1550 payload and it had like every option. Plus this review on a decked out platinum (6.5' screw) with literally every option as well I think has a weight of 5580 (leaving 1420 to payload)..

I am trading a 2009 Lariat SC 4x4 145" 5.4L with 20" wheels, sunroof, nav, 36 gal. tank, tow pkg with a stickered 1,179 lb payload capacity. The 2009 was originally spec'd at 1,520 lb capacity. The 2015 Lariat SC 4x4 145" 3.5L that I ordered has a spec'd capacity of 2020 lbs. I added FX4, 18" wheels, no sunroof, 502a, 36 gal. tank., tow pkg. I assume I would have a capacity >1,179 lbs. with the new truck.

Has it been confirmed that the Maximum Towing package does not increase GVWR as it has in past model years?
