Default Park Light Ring

Quick question: I did some searching and could dig up anything.

Has anyone made their park light "Edges" any brighter?

Lots of white LED cars out there and they are bright. Seems that Ford could have made these brighter

Thanks

Are you talking about the orange/ amber light around the head light? If so google 2015 Headlight mod and that will bring up a site where you can change the LED inside to a remote controlled color changing LED that is brighter. However the MOD requires you to put your headlight in the oven at 250 for 20 mins or so to soften the glue that holds it together so you pry them apart to gain access. Not for the faint of heart....

There is a company online called raptor retrofit that takes OEM F150 LED headlights and converts the LED to bright white. It then turns Amber on turn signal. They have lots of options for regular F150s (not just Raptors). And they sell the lights and an adaptor harness for those of us with halogens. I think there's a YouTube video on features and install. They aren't cheap if you're buying outright but maybe you could get yours converted??

Here's the YouTube video. I'm tempted to do this myself.

That white isn't much (if any) brighter. It just shows up better in pics.

I too wish it was about 4x brighter.

Actually it is. The standard Amber is at a much reduced intensity compared to when it blinks with the turn signals. These lights give full intensity white alternating to full intensity Amber on turn signals. You can see it well in full sun.

Is it just me, or did it seem a little glitchy while changing colors??
