Panoramic Moonroof, is it worth the issues?

I'm a little biased, but my car has been in the shop for 3 days because the sunroof made a bang noise and is stuck shut. They are going to have to take the entire headliner down to assess the damage then order the parts. I'm driving a Focus as a loaner and hope to have it back by Friday. It's an 18 Lariat with 14K miles on it.
I usually keep the liner closed and forget it's there. That's not to say I wouldn't get one again, but they can be problematic.

With one repair and two attempts at fixing the wind noise by the dealer, I gave up and taped mine shut. Nice and quiet now.

I didn't select it. The truck had everything I wanted already. The roof really wasn't a yes or no option for me. I personally do like it. Mine doesn't leak. It does occasionally make a bit of a rattling noise but there are large moving parts in there so it does have to flex a bit. I just open it and close it and it all re-seats back together and stops rattling. I don't use high pressure car washes, I wash it myself. Mine is parked in the garage so I don't worry too much about the elements.
I have extended warranty that covers all that stuff so I don't worry too much about it.

What's the consensus on lubricants for the Pano? I had my front glass replaced under warranty this past fall and have been pretty good about opening and closing it from time to time so it's not sticking, but want to get up there this spring and clean and lube it.
Love how much light is let's in and when it's open, it's amazing. I'd probably do it again. I read the complaint about noise and heat, I'm not sure that person owns one or ever has, because those are huge non-issues. If anything the truck loses heat in winter with the shade open.

I'm going to start out by saying I still love mine.
On March 4th I bought a 15 with the dual panel moonroof. 5 days after I bought it the track failed.
The extended warranty I purchased covers the repair. However, the Dealers body shop is familiar with the company that I purchased my ESP from and told me if we turn in a claim within the first 30 days of ownership they usually decline as pre-existing. That being said, the body shop got the roof closed and is waiting to call in and get the repair approved after some time has passed.
It is really getting nice here and would love to use it again soon!

My pano roof has been great. Like many parts of the truck, the pano roof needs periodic maintenance. I bought a tube of Krytox grease and every few months I follow the TSB and lube it.

I have two of them, one one the truck and one on '13 Explorer and both get used often and have been FLAWLESS. In the the winter I cycle them once every two weeks to keep seals from sticking. I keep the seals lubed up. I think a lot of problems is that people don't use them often and when the do seals do stick you have track issues. Making sure your panels are adjusted to is also key: fixed panel flush with roof top and front panel 3/32" down on front edge from roof top. All the specs posted in another thread.
