Default Panel ?

I have a 2016 2.7 f150 with fx4 and have aproblem with the panel that u remove to change the oil. Does anyone know what this panel is called, or even better the part # ? Thanks for any help.

On this forum, it's often referred to as the belly pan or diaper. I don't know the part number, but I and others have removed it when it failed. Some people go the skid plate option.

Ok - diaper is a good description. Is the skid plate option a ford part or after market?

There is no Ford available skid plate to replace the Under Cover that the OP is referring to.

they probably make it out of cloth so when it falls off it will not cause damage. if they used metal it would cause a lot of damage.

Correct - it was cloth with aluminum backing - drain plug leaked and panel lost shape from weight and now hangs very low - plastic drain plug and cloth panel = cheap fail ! So still trying to find replacement for panel as it must serve a purpose?
