Default Paint and caulk make it what it aint.

I washed and waxed my truck 2-3 weeks ago and come across this big gob of hard caulk - glue on the passenger side top of windsheild. Anyone one else notice this or know why its there?

A post production effort to repair a windshield leak would be my guess.

That sucks. Did you buy new or used? If new, point it out to the dealer for sure. Lazy fix.

Pick it all off and reset the window. Maybe extend the seam down and repaint.

It's the upper cab seam and alot of them look gnarly on these 2015+ builds.

Is there a reason you won't take it to the dealer?

definitely not normal. I just got confused when you asked how to fix it. The dealer might have even done the repair since they didn't seem to catch it on the receiving inspection.

My guess is the windshield was damaged and they replaced it prior to you taking delivery. That might be windshield adhesive from a messy windshield installer.
