Default overhead console

I have a 2016 KR Screw, after I had hail damage fixed on the roof most of the functions that are on the over head console do not work. Dome lights, mirror vanity lights, homelink and the camera button. Is there a common plug or fuse for these? The rear sliding window works.

Most of the overhead stuff is powered through Fuse-55 in the BJB and Fuse-1 in the BCM. Rear window is a separate circuit. If fuses are OK check connectors C314 and C315. I think they are actually in the PS C-pillar.

yes, one plug does it all. My Guess is that they forgot to plug it back in, or damaged it during the repair. See the video below for help in removing the overhead console.

Why are you worried about it? Call the body shop and tell them they'll need to send someone out to fix what they farked up.

The video on how to remove the roof console was awesome. Thanks Soaringfalcon. Most consoles have tabs at one end, meaning the console pivots down from the other end. And the trick is to know which damn end has the tabs, or you can break them when trying to pry down the console from the wrong end. Glad there're no tabs on our console, meaning you can start prying from wherever the heck you want without risk of breaking anything . No need to remember anything. Thanks again.

thanks for the replies, I didn't want to have to go back to the dealer as it is over an hour away. Figured if it was fairly easy to trouble shoot I can take it apart and at least look. I knew my homelink didnt work but the lights are pretty much needed.

YMMV, but I don't think prying from the rear first is a good idea. The area around the sunglass holder is skinny and thus fragile, and working from the front aft seems to put a lot less stress on it. I saw another post to this effect after trying to remove mine starting from the back, and that didn't go so well.

Okay, so from front to back then. Got it . Thanks for the heads up . That's typically the way most consoles have to be removed in my experience, since they're hinged at the back. The only exception to that was the Porsches, which you need to pry with a credit card from the back, and pivots down from the front. The good news with the F-150 is I could power my V1 from the mirror plug, so no need to mess with the roof console at all. Thanks again for your help .
