Default Overhead Console

I just picked up my 15 Lariat. In the overhead console, there are 4 roughly 1/4" circles. 2 facing straight down and 2 facing to the back of the truck. My dealer had no idea what they were and I can't find anything in the owners manual. Can someone please tell me what these thing are? I thought lights, but can't find a switch.

According to some of the other threads on here, those are motion sensors. They set off the alarm if there is motion in the car after it is exited and locked.

Maybe that will be a deterrent to locking dogs in trucks!

Haven't seen one personally yet, but was wondering if they moved the center channel speaker to the top and center. Could those holes be directional ports for the center channel speaker?

I've seen multiple members saying they're motion sensors.

My dog has set off the alarm twice and it was embarassing; mostly because I was kinda panicking since I didn't know how to quickly disarm it and must've looked like a kook trying to aim my keyfob at the truck and pressing every button while it blared and still had to walk over to the truck and unlock the door to ensure it would stop.

I eventually realized that upon exiting the truck, you are presented with two options in the drivers screen for setting the alarm: All Sensors, or Perimeter Only. If you choose Perimeter Only, the interior sensors won't trigger the alarm when the dog is left inside.

I hope that (Perimeter Only) setting can be made permanent or there's going to an awful lot of unnecessary alarms going off.
