Default Outside Temp Sensor

Does anyone know where it is? I washed my truck the other day and now it's stuck at -14c..... I'm thinking it's covered in ice.

Behind the center of the grill. If it was covered in ice, it would show 0 C

Pretty sure it's up front near the grill next to the hood latch.

Not necessarily, the ice can be colder than 0C.

My guess would be the sender unit is being a dunce though, that's what happened on my truck every once in a while. Dealer just replaced it under warranty when I asked about it and it's been perfect since.

It's read - 14 for the last couple days now. ... even when it's -24. I wish it was -14, hasn't been that warm in days. I'll see what happens when it warms up a bit.

I think I read a long time ago they used to put the temp sensor in one of the mirrors, I Don't know if that's still the case?

Yikes that's cold!! Maybe it's out of range and doesn't display below a certain degree point?
