Ordering 2019 Lariat
Decided I'm going to order. Given up trying to find this Unicorn
Cdn Truck
2019 Lariat 4x4 SCrew
502A Chrome, 3.5 Eco, 3.55 elock, 20's, step, tech, pwr roof, two tone Magma/Stone Grey, Camel interior
Cdn Truck - comes with 36 gal, nav, tow package with oil cooler etc incl in 502A
Debating if I should replace 3.55 elock $500
with
max tow $950 (includes 3.55 elock and brake controller $350 plus some other things)
- not sure if ordering this would get a stronger frame and 9.75 rear but if it does I will
or
FX4 $750 (included 3.55 elock, hill decent, skid plates, and cool decal LOL)
Don't tow more than 5000 lbs currently and don't go off-road
Thoughts??

Your build sounds like a good looking truck.

Max Tow, all day long. For what you're dropping, $950 is nothing. And that gives you the most payload and highest GVWR... which will already be a little stunted since you're getting a loaded 502A. My fully loaded 502A 157 SCrew Max Tow only has 1600 payload... it also got the HPP frame and the 9.75 rear end.

@mwf5888 Beautiful, thanks for posting those pictures and I love it! Best pic of interior I've seen and now I know the carpet is brown and to get the cocoa liners. Any problems with the camel leather? 99.5% of the trucks around here are ordered with black. In fact I've only seen 1 in the last 6 months of looking and searching which is how rare it is but from that I knew I liked it.
@tvsjr Absolutely agree. If I'm getting the 3.5 I may as well get max tow. Current proposal I have with only the 3.55 elock shows frame yield strength of 49300 psi. with front axle/spring of 3750/3600 lbs and rear of 4800/4050 lbs. Will get a new proposal with max tow and see if anything changes

Hill Decent is worth $12
Hill descent switch is under $12. That plus a FORScan tweak is all it takes to enable. Between RWD and the longest possible wheelbase, I don't plan to do any off roading, but added it mainly because I could I've heard that it can be handy in winter weather which is the excuse I'm using.
I have Max tow as well, it's probably not bad to have the cooling and other upgrades as well as the controller there in case you ever want them. On the non-HD Payload loaded trucks, Max isn't really achievable in most situations as the truck is payload limited.

My wife's 2017 Escape has the camel and I didn't want a black interior again. I like the two tone Camel and Mocha interior and like you I don't see as many with that color interior. Additionally, I don't see many Magma Red trucks and only one, a KR (standard w/secondary color), had the Stone Gray. Plus the 4X4 sticker is Stone Gray vs. Black which is why I left it on this truck and added the F150 Stone Gray lettering on the tailgate.

I did notice the 4x4 or FX4 seem to be stone grey if you get the secondary colour and also think it looks good as it accents nicely. Possibly because I spent a lot of time looking at a King Ranch!

Nice, I was thinking of adding chrome F-150 or like you the stone grey lettering to the tail gate. Now I can visualize on Magma!
