Annnndddd every ounce of hope I had of it looking great on my truck just disappeared. Left in the front yard and mangled...😡 will be going right back to amazon.

Darn. While you're sending that back to Amazon for a refund. drop a PM to Luke at Truck Alterations about pricing on a Lomax. You can save some serious $$ and have it in a few days. It's similar in toughness, look and function to the Solid Fold 2.0 but is also easily removable to allow use of the whole bed. Mine has proven itself to be quite watertight. When I run my truck through the touchless car wash, the only place water gets in is around the sides and bottom of the tailgate.

I found a local Extang dealer to buy mine from. They matched the online price and installed it for free.

You can actually get the LoMax for less than the Solid Fold... both are nice covers...

Generally speaking though we can usually beat Amazon on Solid Fold pricing pretty easily...

As far as damage goes... it does happen. More with the Solid Fold though because Extang just doesn't package them well for shipping...

 

I feel for you!
I am on my second replacement extang cover. First one was damaged, not sure if that was due to shipping or a factory problem. It is frustrating to say the least.
