Work down from there. Managed about 800k off msrp with an order.

Keep in mind ordering Can actually be better - never has to carry interest in their floor plan.....

Did you negotiate pricing and sign anything before the dealer put in the order?

Interested in hearing how the ordering process went for others because I'd didn't sign anything or even talk final prices. Just gave him a check for 1k as a refundable deposit. Seemed kind of strange but I guess if I change my mind or it takes too long I'm not locked into it. However, when the truck gets here I don't want them trying to charge me MSRP that's for sure...

I did. We worked final numbers as built. Also locked in my trade number with them. No signed papers and the standard 1k - but I do feel like I know where this deal will be...

Similar for me. Nothing signed, but agreed on invoice less rebates at the time of delivery and agreed on the trade value with a mileage limit (can't rack up too many miles on the trade-in or the value given will be invalid). Had to give a $500 refundable deposit.

I built a truck online and my dealer took that and stapled it to the actual order he submitted (with invoice, msrp and final agreed upon price) which we both signed and both retained copies of. Plus 1k deposit too.

Great day only to be made better when I take delivery!
Patience! FWIW-same notion, I ordered some high powered Japanese nail clippers on Amazon after buying my last pair of bad clips! free shipping, too, right?
After a month I just asked where they were as showed Japanese Air Post- they said about the same time your truck's coming in! as they ship on "available space".

Hi gang,

Congrats to those of you who pulled the trigger on a new truck! I'll be happy to provide you with weekly updates on your truck's progress; just send me a PM with your order number and dealer name/location. I'll do the rest!
