The 10 speed may or may not come into the rest of the F150 lineup for 2017. Ford is defiantly holding those cards close to the vest. It's been reported that both the 2.7EB (already in place) and 3.5EB engines will have Auto Start-Stop for MY2017. This alone might get me to pull the trigger on a 2016 instead of waiting for a 2017 if I go the EB route.

So a completely new 3.5EB, Auto Start-Stop and maybe a new 10 speed for 2017? Can't see any issues popping up at all.

IIRC, the first year the 6-speed was available, it was an option. They could go that route again.

My 2011 EB had the 6 speed.... I didn't order it special. It was the standard trans. But it did have a couple reflashes for it.
