Does anyone know what this cord is for? I found it just hanging not connected to anything. 18 XLT 3.5 maxtow.

I have a block heater on mine... the wiring is all black.
Not sure what that one is for.

We could speculate forever on what this cord is for. It does not appear to be OE. I'm sure what you need to do is put on some coveralls, climb under the truck, and trace the cord to the other end.

Orange typically indicates high voltage but I’ve never seen a connector like that.

I have seen orange block heater connectors before. Other possibility is a "forgotten" diagnostic cable of some type?
