All,
I'm in the market for a truck. My thoughts.....
I prefer the looks of the Tundra the best. The inside looks ridiculously dated and behind on technology. New design in 2019, definitely not buying old technology.
Ram- I like the way it looks inside and out and again it's dated with a full overhaul in 2019. That's out....
So the Ford has already been through several updates with more in 2018. Seems an easy decision based on this. Granted this is a Ford forum so i'm sure you'll agree.
I'm looking for a 2018 Lariat Sport Ecoboost 502a. Bilstein 5100 up front to level than 35's on new rims, also thinking fender flares.
Currently I have a 12 Wrangler built up and my daily driver of a 15 Grand Cherokee.
Any issues with my logic ??

The only thing I see are not getting fender flares if you don't get the stance moved out quite a bit. I think most would agree the tucked in look isn't that great. Other than that, enjoy the heck out of your new truck!!!

I came out of Tundra's into a Ford. I put approx 120,000 miles in a new 4.7 2005 CrewCab and liked it so much that when the time came I found a very low mileage 2006 model to take it's place. I gave the 05 to my son, who is still driving it at 190,000+ miles. When new truck time came the next time I considered a new Tundra, but by that time Toyota had changed to the newer body style and you could no longer get a 6.5' bed with four real doors. So I bought a new 157" wb 2012 Lariat with the 5.0 V8. I liked it so much (100,000 trouble free miles) I traded it in this last January on a new 157" wb 2016 Lariat SuperCrew with the 2.7EB.
Loving it so far.......
