Ooops !!!!
I was in a local plaza this morning doing a bit of shopping and came out and walked up to my truck and punched in my code on the door pad but nothing happened. Figured Oh Well I put in the wrong code so I did it again and nothing and I did it 3 or 4 more times and the darned thing still wouldn't unlock.
It's a new truck that I've only had a few months and I'm scratching my head trying to figure out what the heck am I doing wrong when I looked 50' to my right and there's my truck sitting looking at me.
Turns out I was at the wrong truck but the darned thing was identical to mine and I'm sure glad the rightful owner wasn't watching me and figuring some punk is breaking into my truck

I did the same thing at Home Depot a month or so after getting mine...I went as far as putting two 14' 2x4s in the bed before I pressed the remote start and i heard my truck crank up a few rows over :/

With all these trucks Ford cranks out, its bound to happen.
In the two+ years i've owned my truck i've only seen a couple that came close to mine. Identical except they were SCREW's.
I guess SCAB's have some individualism. lol

Obviously, you need more mods. Put enough mods on there and you'll quit confusing it for someone else's ride!

Years and years ago....my mom walked out of the convenience store, got in her truck, and it wouldn't start. That's when she realized that she wasn't in her truck.
IIRC, the guy who saw her get in his truck wasn't too pleased...but realized it was an honest mistake before getting too out of hand.

My wife actually got into the drivers seat of another persons identical car - - with nokey... and she was smacking the START button, and it wouldn't go! ... LOL Finally, she looked over at the passenger seat, and noticed the care was WAY dirtier then she kept hers!

I'm a country boy from the sticks. Really.
I was in the city at a big mall. Had to rush in and get something real fast. I absolutely hate shopping malls.
Couldn't find what I was shopping for. Went to too many stores. Round and round.
Gave up and headed out to my truck. MY TRUCK IS GONE!
I went into a panic mode. Looked and looked. I was getting ready to call and report my truck stolen. Just so happened a friend lives near that mall. I called him first as I will need a ride back home. He laughed and said "Y'all went out the wrong door and you're on the wrong side of the mall, I bet!"
Sure enough, I walked to the other side of Sears and there was my lonesome F150 in the middle of two thousand vehicles.
Yes, felt like a complete idiot and fool.
