One month in feedback notes...
another note:
When I purchased in my CrewMax Tundra in 2010, it was the only full sized four dour that had front parking sensors, and had the tightest turning radius of 43 ft. I park in hospital garages daily, so maneuverability is critical. I didnt even think to check the radius of the similar sized F150 SuperCrew I own, but it comes in over 48 ft. Suffice it to say that there is a lot more strategy involved and distance walked when parking now. I am sure I will get better, but pulling straight in to a 90* parking spot on the first try has been dang near impossible.
As a side note, before I pulled the trigger on my F150, I was going to get another Tundra and go all out with the suspension. It turns out a Tundra has way more flexibility in its CVs from a suspension travel standpoint. I suspect this is what is limiting the F150 tightening up the turning.

15k miles in and thought i would give an update:
I love the truck...its a great road warrior to be sure. I stand by my previous position that it is the best tool for the job, for me. notes:
---panoramic moonroof and electric shade: i would gladly takemy $2k back on that option and trade it for a roll down back window like in my Tundra. to say that using the sunroof is invasive at speed would be an understatement. it flat out sucks so much from a noise/wind standpoint compared to my the tundra that I never use it. furthermore, you cannot crack the vent on the sunroof to let heat bake out of the truck without having the electric shade halfway open, which then allows heat to radiate back through front portion. good idea, bad application.
---massaging seats: love 'em. one of the main reasons i bought the truck. two things: when i activate them using the button on the side of the seat, i dont have a need for the infotainment system to inform me that I turned them on by switching screens. the intentional movement of my hand to press the button was my cue. also, why the timer? why not let me decide when i am done with the massage?
---ventilated/heated seats. these should have a memory function. when i get out to fuel my truck and it is a 100*, there is no reason they should turn themselves off for that 5 minute task.
---power activated retractable steps. you don't need them. neither did i....until i had them. now i will never not have them again.
---power retractable mirrors. why are they not ignition triggered like on other models (i.e. explorer)
---the 3.5L EB is the real deal, although it doesnt pull quite as hard at the top of a gear as a big V8. i suspect that the new 10 spd transmission will solve that.
---believe it or not, i still struggle with the console shifter because it is not gated. when i depress the front lever, and pull back the lever stays disengaged because i am pulling back on it. i end up in M all the time. gated just seems like an inherently more intuitive design. column shifters are gated for a reason. i am so constantly annoyed by it, i actually think Ram's dash dial is better....especially if you add paddle shifters.
---if the truck is smart enough to sense my trailer, then it should be smart enough to sense when my trailer is disconnected without me having to tell it....

Nice write-up.
Good point. I am sure they could make it a programmable feature....
