Default old habits die hard...

traded in my 2013 for a 2015...i'm STILL reaching for the parking brake release! and STILL grabbing the steering wheel to lift myself in!

Copy that! Wondering what the reason was for the different style emergency brake, but I sure like the Oh **** handle on the drivers side!!

It took awhile for me too, but eventually you'll erase the old muscle memory..

I drove a '00 SVT Lightning for about 12 years. traded it for a Focus ST which has a 6-speed manual tranny. I drove for the Focus for 3 years, then traded that for a '15 Platinum.

Despite having driven a manual stick for 3 years as soon as I got back in an F150 for a couple weeks I was still grabbing for the shifter stick on the steering column like my old Lightning had. Its like getting back into a truck flipped my old muscle memory back

I still catch myself reaching for a column shifter every now and then too. You're not alone.

i'm no longer reaching for the column shifter...that's progress! but the steering will is another story...it's in the perfect spot to give me an assist...
