This thread has convinced me to come back to the forums. Got some great info and swapped out my 2020 XLT grille to a STX for $300.

Wow where were you able to find the grille for $300?

Facebook Marketplace. Was 40 miles away but I drove there immediately after the guy said he still had it and "first come first serve"...

Don't really care for Facebook, but I have gotten some interesting stuff from it. Guy got a ebay raptor grille and wanted to get rid of this. Didn't know what he was sitting on. Now I need to sell off this XLT grille...

Yep. The guy near me had it labeled as super duty grille. Had it up for 6-7 weeks before it sold

What is the name of this grill? I was looking at one like this on eBay and wanted to see if this was from eBay.

Anyone recently (within last few months) had one of these STX grilles paint matched at a body shop? Looking for current prices that you paid. Tried using the search bar because I’m sure it’s in there, but I’m on my phone and my browser keeps crashing anytime I scroll through.

I was able to snag this excellent condition STX grille off FB Marketplace yesterday. I live in MI and he was in AZ, but he just happened to live in the same neighborhood as my sister / bro in law, so it worked out perfectly. Color was wrong, but at $90 I couldn’t pass it up. Been searching non-stop for take-offs and nothing was ever reasonably priced, or Oxford White.

Prices vary everywhere. Because labor rates vary per state, Then per county, Then per shop. Asking here will get you a multitude of answers. Better to ask a few shops in your area for an actual accurate estimate. Armed with a price from someone that got one painted 3 states away won't really matter to a shop in your area.


That being said. Take it apart yourself. Maybe even prep it. That will save you a ton of money, if the shop only has to spray it. Might get away with it for low money
