Default Odd Shift from 3rd to 4th Gear

New the forum however I have been reading posts here since Iordered my truck back in January. 2015screw 3.5 Ecoboost FX4 Lariat. Whenshifting from 3rd to 4th gear it seems as if thetransmission is slipping because the rpm’s gradually decrease before increasingagain as it shifts into 4th. Quick firm shifts are good in all other gears. The interesting thing isthat it does not have a problem accelerating, is anyone else noticingthis? Think I may need to take it in butI am afraid they will tell me it’s the characteristic of the truck. I now have just over 3000 miles and don’t wantto have problems down the road.
Overall I just love the truck though!

Hi erc1956us,

Please send a PM with your name, ph #, VIN, and dealership; I'll loop in your regional customer service manager to assist with this concern.

Sorry to here your having issues but there are people having the same issue as you are. Good luck getting it fixed, you will probably get the same BS..."its within fords specifications" or "its normal"

The interesting thing is I really don't have a harsh downshift, it just feels as if it's sliding into gear instead of a crisp upshift. It's only 3rd gear though, I don't notice it any other time.
