I want to change the factory Halogens in my new truck with something whiter/ brighter. I am not ready for HID's.... Anyone have any experience with a nicer looking halogen? Or another alternative?

 

Sylvania Silverstars are really the only ones I've tried. Not a crazy difference, but a slight upgrade I suppose.

 

In my previous vehicle, I put in Philips Diamond Vision halogen bulbs. They are the best white halogen bulb on the market in my opinion.

 

I had some Piaa extreme white plus bulbs in my 2012 that were great. Pricy though for just a bulb.

 

Thanks. I had the PIAA in my 2013..... pricey. I was thinking all the bulbs you guys mentioned. I guess i will have to price them out and make a choice. Like I said just want to go with something whiter. I know that they are not a true upgrade but are still better than stock.

 

Following this! Be cool if someone could put up a post with all the bulb sizes for the 2015 F150?

9005/ High beam

9140/H10 / Fogs

I have HL3600 LED bulbs. Huge difference.

 

Tryed silverstars and they only lasted about 6 months and were not much better than stock. Switched to piaa extreme white and they lasted 2 years (sold truck) and were way better. You get what you pay for.
I vote piaa and will be getting them for the 15 in the fall.
