Default Odd noise from below please help!!!

HI, i'm a new member i have a new 2015 xlt sport with 1000 miles and ever since new with about 10 miles the truck makes a strange rotational noise. The best way to describe it is when i slow down to a stop it shows up around 20 mph. Its like a pulsating metal to metal noise i don't know if it's a wheel bearing, a u-joint or maybe something worse like the transmission. Any suggestions would be great so i can have an idea when i go to the dealer because you know they will say its normal......Overall the truck is perfect except for that noise thanks.

Some members had issues with transfer cases, some had replaced, one member is on his third. Not sure if it's your noise though? Perhaps other members can provide more helpful information.

Good luck.

Welcome to the forum, kenworthy!

I recommend setting up an appointment with your dealership at your earliest opportunity. Please send a PM with your full name, best contact number, VIN, and dealership information; I'll loop in your regional customer service manager to help out.

I'm having the same issue (2015 F-150 Lariat 4x4). Been to the dealer 4 times, replaced the left front wheel bearing on 3rd visit, no joy. Sounds like an old school power steering pump that's low on fluid, prevalent between 25 and 35 MPH on the front left. Can feel grind in steering wheel when turned to the left (noise gets louder), smooth when turned right. Have Ford involved now.

The issue you guys are having is the IWE is engaging. It is a know issue and Ford will fix it as long as they can duplicate it.
Search the forums for this you will see several threads on it.
