So, I just finished turning on all the climate stuff. None of it works in my truck...bummer. So I put it back to having the settings in that quadrant. But, so happy to have the navigation up and working. Thanks again to all who helped. And thanks to the OP for this information. 10x's happier with my truck now. The only thing that was holding me back from trading my 07' F150 in for this one was the 07 had in dash navigation and this one didn't. But now it does!!!

I am having issues with getting an extended license which the program is telling me I need in order to show the bdycm data.
I get an error about the hardware id being incorrect.
I have tried entering the mxbt info that shows in the connection page (00:04:3#:90:#6:71). The # signs are just there for privacy reasons, not the actual data. I have tried using the computer hardware id. I am not having any luck. Maybe I am just gathering the incorrect information.
I am not connected to the vehicle while attempting this. I don't know if that is the issue or not.
Can someone help me please?
BTW: I was able to connect via the mac laptop using parallels and XP. So the ASUS computer will probably go back to Best Buy after reconsidering its other possible uses.

The hardware id comes from the software you downloaded. Forscan on the computer that you are using.

I think you open the software and click the steering wheel at the bottom left. I can't double check cause all mine has now is the extended License.

It took me awhile too to understand it and be able to find it.

No. Dont unzip. After you format the usb, just drag and drop the files, there should be two of them, from the desktop into the usb. Open up the drive and drop them in there. dont do anything else to those files.

The root of the USB should show 2 files SyncMyRide and autoinstall.lst. The SyncMyRide folder has 5 zipped files inside, leave them there, inside the SyncMyRide folder. So, when you open your USB stick, it should show 2 items, a folder, SyncMyRide and an AutoInstall file. That is what is on the "root" of your USB stick. Take that to the vehicle and install. Hope that helps.
