Wait. Body shop guys were surprised to see that? That's been commonplace on Factory paint since I got into the body shop business 17 years ago at least. More than likely way before. Haha! I would avoid that place

Close the hood and go back to enjoying your truck. Your putting way too much thought and angst into this.

My truck has the same exact thing on the driver side fender where it was adjusted after paint.

Nothing on the outside of the vehicle but in the door jams, bed of truck, under hood and in some of the fender lines it looks like a very light coating of paint and almost green in color. One section under the hood is aluminum not even a primer. Looks like they adjusted the fender gap. Is this normal for this truck, would you guys say anything to the dealer?
Same in my truck. If you open my hood Both sides have the paint missing as they were aligned after it was sprayed. My truck had 4 miles when purchased and since it was even on both sides I didn't worry. But at first I thought it was in a accident too. Maybe tomorrow in the daylight I can get a pic.
