Is this normal? - Paint
Wait. Body shop guys were surprised to see that? That's been commonplace on Factory paint since I got into the body shop business 17 years ago at least. More than likely way before. Haha! I would avoid that place
So I thought I'd run it by some of you guys. I was at a body shop getting some things painted and one of the guys saw my F150 and wanted to check it out. I was showing him the truck and popped the hood and we was like wtf??? See pics. said it looked as if it was in an accident. I said nope came this way special ordered from the factory. Nothing on the outside of the vehicle but in the door jams, bed of truck, under hood and in some of the fender lines it looks like a very light coating of paint and almost green in color. One section under the hood is aluminum not even a primer. Looks like they adjusted the fender gap. Is this normal for this truck, would you guys say anything to the dealer?
