Default Noise on diff Trim lvls

I'm curious about ride noise in different trim levels. Is there a difference or anything build wise between the XLT and the higher trims like Lariat, King Ranch etc.

I don't know the answer, but I think my XLT is pretty quiet.

I think it would be different since higher trim using higher interior materials. But different may not significant at all I believe

It is difficult to say because I haven't riden in anything that my Lariat.

I find it pretty quiet if it wasn't for the moonroof "ticking" noise...

I'm not sure if there is a difference, but I remember seeing a video review about a higher trim f 150 and the one complaint was they had to slam the doors shut due to the amount of rubber between the door and the frame. My 2016 xlt is much quieter than the 2014 I had and the doors shut easily. The only exception is the wind noise from the drivers side mirror. Other than that I'm happy with it.

i have an XLT and think its pretty quiet. I was just curious if they used anything in upper trim levels like different glass, more sound barriers in the doors and floor etc. Think i might go drive one and see if its much different.

I found a similar post in the 2009-2014 section. (road noise/sound insulation: xlt vs Lariat?) Looks like in those models ford insulated a bit more on the higher trim levels, but in the end people didn't really notice. Tried to find more info but have to go to work. Hope it helps.

My wife got a Kia Sorento and when doing my homework on it i noticed that in the higher trim levels they made point of using better sound proofing. i dont ever remember reading that when buying my truck.

My XLT suits me fine. I used to own a BMW, that is much quieter.
