Default New truck checking in

hi everyone, thought it's probably time to introduce myself. I've been lurking for the past few weeks soaking it all in. I got my truck 2 weeks ago Thursday and am loving every minute, these trucks are awesome vehicles! Its a Guard Metallic 3.5 EB XLT 4x4 302a with max trailer tow and the LED mirror lights.

No major mods planned for me yet, I traded in my 03 Cobra which was healthily modified and this is my first brand new vehicle so I'm not going to go crazy. And I'll probably have a jetski by next summer lol so there's your mod money right there. I do plan on the weather tech floor mats and a line x spray in here soon.

One quick question for you all. Any ideas on cloth seat protection better than scotch guard? Thanks!

Truck looks great, I really like that color I am not sure about seat protection, I am interested in that answer also. Thinking about covers, but I want them to fit tight and have had issues in previous vehicles with that

Welcome, looks good. My dealer put something on the inside and out of mine called simonize as part of the extra warranty package I added, if I get a stain that I can't get out they will try to, if they can't they replace whatever it is. I think for as long as I own the truck
Edit, also I really like the Carhartt seat covers that are available

As far as protecting the inside (and outside) my dealership offered Cilajet. Its a coating that doesn't change the texture at all but keeps everything water resistant. I spilled a whole can of monster on the seat/floor and it wiped right up with some paper towels and left nothing behind. I also got the outside of my truck sprayed and it makes keeping a clean truck so much easier. I highly recommend checking it out.

I bought a '15 Sierra Z-71 SLT double cab back in late March and I added the Simonez protection as well.

Thanks for the welcome all. I'm looking at either scotch guard or the cilajet. Also put the first scratch in the bed last night! Not even worried, going to get me a Line-X. I do love having the LEDs back there!

It does suck they're not making guard anymore, I wasn't going to buy any other color!

13. - you're going to love it! I'm extremely happy with the truck so far.

First camping trip to the lake tomorrow and taking the pups in the truck for the first time! I bought a moving blanket for $19 instead of the $60+ pet hammocks. Probably will end up rigging it so it'll hang from the head rests and add a velcro blanket flap on each side so the little knuckleheads don't scratch my door panels!
