You can at least get a feel for what you'll get at that price. You may find a base xlt for 35-37k or an xl for 33-35k. I don't know about taxes and how they are setup in OK vs TX but I know in some states its worth driving to save a couple thousand. A friend of mine has the titan diesel but it really didn't suit my fancy and the price was more then i paid for my 17 screw 3.5 eb...by almost 10k. Good luck in the search but you should be able to find something with all the rebates out here.

I agree with stringer that on F-150s you should be able to find either an XLT less some of the more pricey options (i.e. moonroof, 3.5 Ecoboost Engine, etc.) or an XL with the STX package within your budget. The fact that you only need 4x2 makes staying below the $32.5k completely viable.

Finding either one with the 2.7 Ecoboost would net you a great truck that you'd be able to keep for years to come.

Be careful when shopping different areas than where you live. Rebates can vary dramatically from region to region. I drove 70 miles to buy a truck I saw on the internet and got blindsided by $4,500 in rebates that didn't apply where I live. If you have cash I would never pass up 0% interest if it doesn't affect the out the door price.

Thank you all so much, I appreciate the help and will be taking everything into consideration. I did mean the big back seats so I think I listed the wrong model. I'm so excited to learn everything about the trucks and find my dream truck!
I live in Okc so we do have a lot of dealerships but wow Texas seems to have a million times more!!! I'll be sure to check out the websites and check out rebates before traveling out of town. I won't be purchasing until around the last week of next month, so I have time to research and try to find the best available deal. I'm not against getting a 2016 and I plan to keep the truck until I'm forced to buy another Thanks again! You've all been kind and helpful.

app was carcostcanada...
Don't forget that the market is changing. When you have the cost, they lose a lot of ways to charge you more.

Also, NEVER negociate on the monthly payment. Bi-weekly is 26 payments/year, not 24, etc....
As for the extras, I pulled a stunt on them, just to see how they would react. Told them i'm backing off and going home once the price was inked....

Then came the question" what can we do to make you sign this today?". I physically went home ,telling them the rims on it s*cked and I would go to Chevrolet (was never my intention)...

also i usually tell them that if they attempt to sell me an scotchguard, security etching, etc...I would back off at the first moment. LOL. That works for me...they don't try to recoup some of that loss but selling me overpriced items....

this is nice, within budget, make sure it is still there. go over and tell them u will give them 32500 in cash out the door. at 32501 u walk. let them figure out the price to make that work. lol i may have bought a truck or 2 and walked on many too.

I'd recommend looking at an F150 XL with the STX appearance package. You can get everything you want (except maybe not remote start).
I have an xl STX ordered that should be here by the end of the month. I loaded mine up with almost every available option so my MSRP was almost $49K. But while I was shopping for one, there was many of them with less options than I got on mine in the $30k range and they still had everything you wanted. STX package makes the XL trim truck look much more like a higher trim truck instead of looking like a true work truck.

Ryan

EDIT: forgot to add, the STX appearance package adds Sync 3 so you get more technology inside the truck than a normal XL with the smaller non touch screen version.

To get maximum discount you typically have to finance with Ford. This is usually good for a $1000 rebate. You can immediately pay off the loan. If you want to save $1000 this is a no brainer.

I don't know if it would be worth it to travel to an entirely different state to buy a truck. Especially, when the dealer figures out that you came all that way just to buy a truck they will know you won't want go home empty handed. I would do some checking around with dealerships within a half day's drive of your location and not much further. Usually every state has 2 or 3 volume dealers that will pull out in front of the pack and actually have the inventory for you to shop.

If you aren't towing or doing any heavy loading, like many here have recommended, I would take a look at the 2.7 Ecoboost. It provides quite a bit of power and fuel economy. I would also look at an XL with the STX package (very similar to an XLT for the money) or an XLT with 302a package. The 302a package has a lot of creature comforts without getting ridiculous. I also like the BLIS (blind spot information system) as an option because it is handy and the tail lights look a lot better in my opinion.

If you aren't too picky about options/colors you could probably get a heck of a deal on a left over 2016. As for the 2017 models, the prices will only get better as fall approaches with the 2018 hitting the lots. There will probably be a lot of sales promotions going into July. If you are interested in Fords Extended Service Plans, check online for prices and either buy there or try to make the dealer match. Here is a post where they are talked about here.

Good luck!
