Default New 2019 keeps asking for Sync Update

My brand new 2019 keeps asking me to connect to WIFI to finish setting up. Its connected to my house WIFI network and have clicked YES when prompted several times and left it within range of WIFI, one time it stopped asking for about 1 day. Figured I had it fixed, and now its back to asking to connect to WIFI (when it already is) to finish setup. Can anyone send me some advice? Thanks in advance.

What is the Build # of the software on your Sync 3?

I downloaded the update to my thumbdrive and installed the update... you can download the file from the Ford Owner website and update via the USB ports in your truck. Instructions are on the Ford Owner site.

The latest Sync 3 v3.3 Build # 19052 resolves this issue

I have a 2016 Lariat with Sync 3 and Nav. I was killing time and connected it to my phone today and it started an update. I didn't screen shot the file number. I went onto the Ford Owner web site and there was an update to my truck. However, it said update to Sync 3.0. I am already at the latest update from last summer, which I think is, 3.2. Is this just a sloppy description on Ford Owner? I don't want to go backwards. These are the flies that I just downloaded.

Wi-Fi updates are useless. I'd disable that, and if there're any updates you can do (sometimes the Ford site is wrong), just do it via USB, like most of us. Good luck.

My truck has a good WiFi signal. As soon as I park it on the driveway it connects to my home WiFi and I see frequent Sync updates downloaded and installed.

With a 2016 you won't be on 3.2 unless you modified. It will be 3.0

My 2019 has a standard, 4" non-touchscreen radio. It kept asking for automatic updates & didn't like it when I said "no". So I punched in my wi-fi password, just to get rid of the message. The next morning, the characters on the display were too big to see the entire screen. Many of the buttons do not work. I can't access the settings menu, so I can't tell which version software I have, nor can I do a hard reset. Right now, I'm stuck on AM radio and I can't change it. The scan button does work but I can't get to FM. It's been this way for a week. It almost seems like I got an update for an 8" display by mistake. I work out of this truck, so I don't need anything more than a basic radio but I do need it to work. Has anyone ever heard of this?
