That’s a very nice truck! I’m not sure of your age, but you will love the tailgate step.

 

This is a great point. I thought it would be a total gimmick but I use the tailgate step all the time. And I'm young...

 

How much? Back before the shortages, that would be selling for $48k or less. With the hail damage probably low $40ks.

 

Triple that. My dealer found a truck a few hundred miles away.. Had every option I would have custom ordered and nothing I would not have ordered.... except for the tailgate step....
Was not going to turn it down for a $375.00 option... Bought it... Love the tailgate step.... When I put my bed rug in, with all the getting in/out of the bed... It paid for itself in that one day....

 

Ha, I was basically the same. I didn't care about the tailgate step at all, half the time I built online I left it off. Truck that was a 98% perfect match on a local lot happened to have the step.

A week with it, and I wouldn't buy one without the step.

I'm fully capable of (and often do, even with the lift and tires) jumping straight up onto the tailgate and back down, but...the step is great and used more than I expected

 

I kinda like the 3.73’s.

 

I had the step in my 08 F350 and loved it. I think its a handy feature for sure. I'll pull the factory cab steps and put some besttop or amp research electric steps some time in the future.
