Default Need help. Lug nut replacement key

So somehow the key to my OEM lugs is lost. It’s only ever been in my truck and I suspect the dealership lost it but there’s nothing I can do here because I honestly don’t know. But I’ve never removed the key from my truck.

Anyways, they could rotate the tires and complete the work regarding my oil change etc. I took the vehicle home, hoping that by some accident the key was in my garage or something but it’s not. And now it’s the weekend so I can’t ask them what’s next yet.

Can I get a rekacement key for them? What are my options here. Hoping to avoid having to force them off and buying new lugs. Any input would be great.

Thanks in advance.

I think getting a replacement key requires vin plus proof of ownership of the vehicle like taking in the insurance card or registration for it

When I bought my truck they included a small card with the information to order a replacement. Maybe look in the glovebox could be with owners manual or if you purchased truck new could be with your paperwork.

If it’s the Ford / McGuard key, then a dealership in your area should have a master set, assuming you have the Ford OEM locks(which are McGuard). Also, you should have an ID card with a key number, you can purchase replacements directly from McGuard with it.

Thank you. They are oem. I’m in Canada, don’t know if that matters for what brand they are. I had a look through my manual. Can’t seem to find any ID number for it. I’m meticulous and kept everything that came with my truck. Where is can I find this ID?

Weld oversized nuts on?

Then remove.

its just a small card with the McGuard details on it. Maybe in the same place as your key now??? Anyway, ask the dealer if they have a master set, or which nearest dealer does.
