Hope it works out. Changing Item 3 is a real pain in the Auto-Stop-Start, if you know what I mean.

Good luck.

B11E7:14 - Air Distribution Damper Position Sensor: Circuit Short to Ground or Open

Description:
This DTC sets when the module senses less than 1 volt on the actuator feedback circuit, indicating an open circuit or a short to ground.

Possible Causes:
  • Wiring, terminals, or connectors
  • Air distribution door actuator
  • Air distribution door binding or stuck
  • FCIM
If everything is still working as it should, I would clear the code and see if it comes back again. If it does return, see if the occurrence counter (the hexadecimal characters after the dash) has increased, indicating a new occurrence of the DTC. The "-0A" tells us that the DTC has occurred 10 times. Hexadecimal for 11 is -0B.

The DTC is indicating a wiring problem of some sort. The majority of the pinpoint tests associated with this DTC are dedicated to finding out where the break has occurred. Is there any chance that after you changed the air distribution door actuator, you didn't quite get the electrical connector completely seated? Maybe one of the pins in the connector is damaged or not seated in the connector housing all the way.

There are literally hundreds of DTCs that will not illuminate the CEL. Probably more don't than do. Good luck.

This system is not involved with the engine, therefore >not a check engine code.
