Name this part please!
Greetings, I'm a new member and this is my first post. As background I'm on my second F150...had a 98 purchased brand new, now I'm driving a 2017 which I bought used (prior fleet rental vehicle).
The other day I backed up over a smallish snow berm and I think I may have pulled loose the protective heavy fiber-like piece that sits under the chassis between the two front wheels. I started to hear a clicking noise while driving so pulled over to have a look. The piece pulled loose from the two forward mounting points (bolts into clips) and folded back to drag along the ground as I drove. When I got home I crawled underneath and took it off (via two mounting bolts on a cross member). It's not to beat up but I'd rather just buy a new one.
It doesn't look to difficult to replace, but I don't know what the thing is called. Sorry, I don't have a photo but I imagine some folks will know what I'm talking about. Any help is appreciated!
Thanks,
Jack
