So the bolts line up but it's still hitting in the location you pictured above? No chance they're flipped around (passenger on driver side etc)?


Mine just got dropped off by FedEx, if it ever stops raining I'll try to go install mine perhaps.

Yea. N-Fab customer service had been nothing short of awesome with this issue. Lance has been more than helpful. Apparently there is a secret formula to installing these (contrary to what people are saying here, and what the videos show). Supposedly you have to put them in at an angle and push it up against the rocker arm and then twist them to get them on the hangers. I'll be giving it a shot when I get home.

my truck has that piece and I don't remember having any issues with it during the install.

I just installed mine, ran into the same issue you had briefly. I just hit that piece of plastic with the handle of my socket wrench and it popped back. This only happened on the passenger side. Driver side slipped right into place. Overall it took me about 25 minutes.
