Default My turn for dash lights! Help me out here team.

2016 F150 5.0 4x4 212,000km XLT. FX4 locking rear diff, standard transfer case no 4A.

First ever lights on the dash have me stumped, hill assist, ABS, advance track all going PLUS check rear park aid.

My truck lives a muddy life and got a 2 hour wash underneath (no lights at this time) by me. Really tried to stay away from seals and connectors.

Followed by a 5 min wash focused on the rear
diff (was changing oil etc the next day).

Timing from washing to light is about 24-36 hours, with plenty of driving in between.

Code present U0415, cleared a few times comes back on instantly, did a KAM reset cause its free. Same deal.

Appreciate yalls help

thanks.

Do a walk around your truck with the hazard lights flashing and make sure all your bulbs work properly. Make sure your third brake light bulb is working as well. Bulb outages cause weird errors/messages with these trucks.

U0415 Code: Invalid Data Received From Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) Control

Verify your CAN communication to the ABS module. If that is intact, I would start looking at the ABS module/pump as the culprit. I would also verify that all 4 wheels speed sensors are functional. Those connectors are found around where you have been spraying.

Thanks, is the rear just one speed sensor on the diff or one at each wheel like the front?

Copy. Must be the E-locker plug I was looking at. That also doesn’t work currently.

U0415 is for module-to-module communication error or errors with the ABS module. Since you worked a lot around the rear axle, I would disconnect the connectors behind the spare tire and check them carefully for water intrusion. Connector C405 seems to be more incline to have sealing issues than the others and the rear parking aid sensors pass through C423.

I was just going to suggest looking for the connectors on a wiring diagram to see whats common. Thanks @52merc !

Also, Just left Calgary earlier today. Quite the couple storms we had last night!

Anyone know what this connector is for? Broken wire on it I noticed. Some blue/blue white wires. Has undercoating on it in pic.
