My truck only weighs how much?!
So, I decided to go weigh my truck. I have always been curious what it actually weighs, and I could never really find a definite answer. The GVWR is 7,000lbs, and the front GAWR is 3,450lbs and rear GAWR is 3,800lbs. I just want to know what my truck weighs as-is.
I had 1/3 tank of gas, and I keep about 150-200lbs in the bed with my tools in the toolbox. Truck specs are in my sig. With my 35" tires and extra bed weight, I can assume I've added roughly 250-300lbs of total weight to the truck from bone stock. Here it is!

Curious what your door sticker says for payload. I thought it was supposed to be GVWR minus truck weight?

My 2001 supercrew xlt 4x4 with 5.4 weighs about 5,500. That's fully kitted with winch, recovery gear, farm jack, Goodyear MTRs, and shell. Supposedly a steel truck but the factory hood is aluminum and the bed is fiberglass.

That interesting that its over 5,000...
I say that because where I live( Florida) you register your car by weight not value( as we have sales tax)
and vehicles over 5,000 Lbs dont sync with your birthday, they expire every year on 12/31 at midnight, they get included with the Commercial trucks registration regardless if its business or private use
My 2015 and 2017 F150s would renew in April( under 5000 lbs), where as my GMC is December(5400 lbs)

Wow that's pretty heavy. What year truck do you have?
Sorry about that, I should have put that on here with my original post...
Oh wow! Too bad my buddy got rid of his 97' F150. He kept trying to tell me it was an 8k lb truck because of steel as well. I knew that wasn't true.

So, 5100 lbs is what a 5.0 SCREW about weighs? Amazingly light! Thats why these trucks run so well and get great mileage. Love the Aluminum body!

My 15 scab 6.5 box 4x4 with the little 3.5na weighed in at 4780lbs with a full 36 gallon tank and no driver...payload says 1521lbs...
and max gross is 6300lbs...
so ide say mine was pretty darn close....out by a lb and driver but that could be attributed but the hitch I added and my junk in the truck
