Ouch! Kind of an odd place for that to happen. maybe pdr and then touch up? Other than that the paint shop I guess. Sucks for something that small. Good luck

I just got a quote from a body shop for a scratch down to the metal but smaller than that. Because of location (right above the exhaust) they would have to clear the whole side of the bed to match. $1200 and three days to do it right from multiple locations. Just to give you an idea. I think I might hold off on it. I am in California so...YMMV

Good luck!

Paintless Dent repair and a smidge of touch up paint. You will get more dings and scratches in the future anyway.

http://www.tristatedentremoval.com/ did a wonderful job in removing a sharp crease from my brand new rav 4. An 8 feet plank feel on side of door when it was just 2 days old. the guy took the dent so nicely without even opening the inside door panel. I am not sure if they or something similar exist in your time and what hapens to an aluminum body. Good luck and keep everyone posted please

A small dent with scratch in a big piece aluminum body is always not good because you have the option to wait more dents in the same piece just to fix the whole thing.
I did put a tiny Texans decal on it while waiting for the other ones. LOL

I drove against a table saw(don't ask) and scratched from under the front passenger headlight back to the rear passenger door. Some spots pretty deep... Just paid $1500 at a local Carstar and it took 7 days. I feel like that was a fair price as I originally just wanted the paint fixed and not the dents but was told the prep/removal work was the bulk of the cost. You can't tell a difference now as it looks showroom perfect again.
