Mine didn't run very long so hopefully I'll escape that problem but thanks for mentioning it.

Most important thing of all this is you didn't get in an accident or hurt. The truck can be repaired or can be replaced as they make them everyday! Glad to hear you are safe and back on the road!!!!!

Glad it's been worked out. Give the truck a few days to show you it's ready to go again and be something you can count on for the long haul.

Here's to many many trouble free miles. enjoy.

Ive started running archoil ar6200 for this very reason. its supposed to help lubricate these direct injectors and the pump. Im a little weary of these systems and have been using the additive to help combat this very problem.

I remember reading somewhere that a lot of the fuel additives were hard on turbo seals?

Im not sure about that. I know these additives are popular in the diesel community and they have turbos. I don't have turbos on my truck so haven't really looked into that. I do know that fuels now have very little oil in them and are hard on injection systems. the archoil is supposed to help combat that.

I run fuel system cleaner at every oil change regardless of vehicle are injection system. just helps keep everything clean.
