The low end torque on 2.7 is on the tap, 5.0, you have to be in the power band/higher rpm to keep momentum.
Just my observation.
But yes, if your rig is paid off and has no issues, id keep it.
I would not want to deal with all the problems new F150's are experiencing, some of which are, axle bolts shearing, AC freezing over.
My vote is to keep it

My father in law has 16 5.0, I’d take 2.7 for towing over 5.0 every time.
The low end torque on 2.7 is on the tap, 5.0, you have to be in the power band/higher rpm to keep momentum.
Just my observation.

Sell it at 60,000 miles.
IME, vehicles bought new that haven’t had significant problems, aren’t fully broken in until 30K, and 30-60K miles is their minimal corrective maintenance period.
