I have a 2018 XLT and the wipers wouldn’t go off. I replaced the multifunction switch (From Autozone) and everything worked perfectly except the high beams won’t lock in position when activated. Thinking the switch was not compatible, I got one from Advanced Auto—same result. Alas, I went to the dealership—same issue. When I put the original back in, high beams lock, but wipers stay on. Anyone have any ideas on how to get the switch to engage? Obviously, it’s not an issue with the column because it works with the original. Thanks

Thanks for the insight, but I figured it out. The original must have been so screwed up that it allowed the high beams to lock in daylight. I checked the new switch after dark and everything works perfectly. Daylight/dark never even crossed my mind until a friend brought it up.
