Default MPT Tune reliability

I apologize if this has been asked before, But I'm looking to tune my truck, and I've come across the MPT tune.

I realize that increasing boost and power levels has inherent risks, but I was hoping I could get some feedback on this tune.

I vaguely remember reading elsewhere that 500 wtq is the "safe" limit for our transmissions, this tune is claiming to produce 526 wtq.

Those of you that have this tune, have you run into any issues with your tranny? I rarely tow with my truck, and I take good care of my vehicles.

I'm wondering if I'll run into any long term problems since I do plan on keeping this truck for quite awhile.

Thanks in advance.

The transmission in the ecoBoost will support a bit more than what you listed. Its the engine that is the weaker link. Push it too far and you get the "window mod" in the side of the block.

I ran the Mpt performance tune on my 2013 eco. The truck was a monster, I would make sure to data log and work with them to fine tune things to get the best results.
The truck had 60,000 miles on the tune and still ran great.

ive run several tunes incl mpt.

to answer your question/concern concisely: mpt tunes are not known to be harmful to the f150 transmission. i never had any issues running their race tune. your transmission should be fine (unless of course you are reckless in hos yoi isw your truck).

good stuff, thanks for chiming in guys

I'll be pulling the trigger on the tune.

How long does it take to switch between tunes?
The Cobb accessport I had for my BMW was a pain in the **** to switch between tunes, it would take 30-45 min
