Default MPT performance tune

Anyone have experience with MPT performance? They have an Ecoboost tune that gets about 530 lbs of torque. I was only able to get about 430. Just wondering if anyone knew anything or had any experience with them.

I don't have experience with them on an EB, but I ran their 93 performance street tune on my 14 5.0. Great tune, ran perfectly. And they were great to work with

They did programs for my 2011 EB. Customer service was top notch when I dealt with them a few years ago. Just wish my programmer worked with the 2015. They made custom tunes for me a tweaked them any time I had a computer update or if I purchased a new performance part from them.

Same as above with my 2015 5.0 and N-Gauge and MPT tunes, performance is good, shifts are great without being neck snapping, and they were very quick with the tunes.

I do I use there tunes all day. I previously used 5 star on my other trucks. MPT is a different beast. I am running the 93 performance tune now. With sport mode on it hauls. I can get about 19 psi when I have it to the floor. I also gave the 87 performance tow tune and I love it as well.

Too many variables to compare why yours didn't make the hp/tq theirs did. Fuel quality, ambient air temp, gear selected when doing the pull etc. I'm running their 93 PR-X in my EB now and have zero complaints about performance.

i use the mpt 93 prx high boost on my 15 3.5 and its unreal. I also run afe intake and exhaust tho. I picked up more than the graph on the mpt site.

how many miles did your truck have when you threw the tuner on it?

I have a 2012 FX4 Eco with just under 130,000 miles and an AFE intake.

The dealerships have put a bit of fear of tuners like these and I was talking to someone about adding this tuner to my truck but he said I probably shouldn't due to the fact of having 130k on it. But I figured I should ask someone who has actually used the tuner and has a little more knowledge on the subject

Thanks!

I've got an 87 perf/tow, 91 perf/tow and 93prx. In hindsight, I probably should have tried an economy tune, because I haven't used the 91 at all. I very much like the 93PRX for daily driving. For a long trip, I'm not sure how bad mileage will be... we'll see.

But I can't recommend the 93PRX highly enough. It absolutely transforms the truck into beast mode when you put your foot down, and its daily driveable if you're just putting around. The shift points and strategy are so much better than stock.

^^^^^^This. I've been running the 93PRX exclusively for at least a year and a half. I also had the 93PRX on my 5.0. Really wakes them up. Seems to have much more power on my 3.5 than it did on the 5.0.
According to MPT, right about 450RWhp, and over 500 torque, might be more, might be less, it's never been on a dyno, but this thing really hauls.
I just recently went to 315/70/17 from 275/60/20, 33 up to 34.5, and really, it doesn't feel like I lost much or any power or mileage.
