I did not level my '18. I did put on 275/55/20 (OEM was 245/70/17) which basically means I went from a 30.5" tall tire to a 32" tire and added ~ 1 - 1.5" in width. I also adjusted speedo via FORScan. I lost about 1 MPG when I did this for my daily commutes. Not bad. I"ll probably level by doing the drop shackles on the rear rather than raise the front (2wd and does not need to be taller, really.
2019 3.5
15.0 MPG avg - calculated with Fuelly
Lost 1 MPG with the addition of leveling kit and barely heavier 275/65r20 Terra Grapplers
Most of my driving is city, and short trips - not ideal for efficiency.
Eibach pro sport struts, coils, and 2.5" rear block
I get 18-20mpg daily driving no matter what I do. Tune, bigger tires, level, really didn't make any difference. The only time I've noticed any large changes in mileage was on long trips, if I kept under 70 I could get up to 24/25 but it dropped under 15 if I kept a steady 80 or had to deal with a strong headwind.
I have a 2019 XLT Sport 4x4 supercrew 2.7 with a 1.5" level and stock sized Cooper Discoverer AT34S. My lifetime average on the dash is 21.5MPG. That's a mix of short commutes to work, running errands and decent highway trips. Lately I have been averaging 22+ according to hand calculations. I drive moderately mostly in ECO mode, try to keep it under 75 on the highways and I never use cruise control. I am trading this truck in for a 2022 5.0 and planning on doing the same 1.5" level and Toyo Open Country AT3 stock size tires. I will be curious to see what kind of mileage I can get out of the V8.
Just shy of 27K miles on the 2.7 and no issues with the truck. It's definitely a peppy engine when you need it to be.

What are averaging with the 5.0? I have a 2022 lariat 5.0 with 2.5” level suspension and nitro ridge grapplers 285/65r20 which are close to a 35” tall as per their specs and a borla S type exhaust ans 3.73 gear ratio. I was averaging close to 15mpg before and now it looks like I am between 13-14mpgs. Pretty much do inner city driving and commute to work (stop and go on the hwy). Seems kind of low, but like to hear what others get.
Mines got the Bilstein 2.1" Lift/level and my 17' SCFX4 is getting 18 mpg with the Raptor takeoffs I have on. I do have the 3.31 rear end so I'm sure that helps some as well. I seemed to lose 1-2 mpg with the lift and tires for average mpg's. My commute is about an even mix of interstate highway and in-town. My old 2001 King Ranch SC Off-Road only got 16 mpg no matter what i did with the 5.4 V8.
