Any increase in aerodynamics will be offset by the added weight of 200 lbs. You shouldn't see any noticeable fuel economy difference.

Added a backflip on my 13", no change. Neither will lowering the tailgate.

Discussed many times, including a video from Ford, and testing by Consumer Reports and Myth Busters. No difference.

The cheapest and most effective way of getting better MPGs is changing your driving style. That's really it, there are no other good ways, I mean its a box on wheels lol

Also don't live in Iowa, where you always end up with a 28mph headwind and 14mpg.

I just moved out of Iowa last July. Grew up in Southeast Iowa and went to college at ISU. Now live in Boise Idaho where its warm but much windier than home! lol

Welcome to Idaho. I live in Nampa and trust me we have had much more wind than normal this year. Lived here 64 years and normally not near this windy
